Hello Everyone,

My name is Christine Nelson. I live in Sechelt, British Columbia, Canada. I have two cats named Cortez and Mordecai who are my babies. I have been sewing garments since I was 4 years old and started quilting in 2016.

 

From the moment I started quilting it just took over! What started as a hobby has become my passion and I love every part of it.

 

I originally opened Quilting by Christine in Sherwood Park, AB but I took a leap of faith end of 2022 and moved to Sechelt, BC! I feel fortunate to do what I love day in and day out. I thoroughly enjoy the quilting community because it is packed full of amazing people and this makes my job even better!

I offer many digital edge to edge pantographs all quilted on my trusty APQS Millie longarm and Quilt Path computer system.

I have done lots of custom quilting for one of Northcott's fabric designers and had these quilts displayed at the Huston, Texas Quilt Market in 2019. You can see my custom quilting on some pattern covers as well!

I am a sales representative for APQS Longarms and love talking about them. Setting someone up with their own longarm feels like getting my longarm all over again! It brings me immense satisfaction knowing the excitement and joy the longarm will bring that individual. So if you are ever in the market for a longarm send me a message and I can answer all your questions and hopefully set you up with your very own APQS longarm!

My hours are by appointment only and are flexible. Send me a message to ask any questions and to book a time to either drop off your quilt or mail in your quilt.
